Construction and Expansion Joints

Traditional PVC or rubber waterstops can be labour intensive and still proof to be inadequate for the job at hand. A good alterative is an injection tube, which is easily installed onto new or old concrete. Once the concrete has set, a waterproof resin is pumped through the injection tube to completely fill the joint interface.

Concrete penetrations and precast joints are troublesome details. These are easily tackled with expanding gaskets like hydrophilic rubber strips and mastics. Chemically resistant and flexible, these products are the obvious choice for a variety
of construction joints.

Chemicals Containment

Traditional waterstop profiles cannot prevent hazardous chemicals from seeping into joint interfaces. Injection with a suitable resin allows voids to be completely filled with chemically resistant resins, thus barring contaminants from entry. Surfaces can also be protected with a 1-component polyurethane spray coating.

Concrete Surfaces

Structures can be subject to water infiltration because of the porosity of the concrete or masonry. De Neef has introduced a new range of hi-tech, high performance cementitious coatings for surface sealing, even under negative pressure. The products are easy-to-use and can be applied by brush, trowel or spray equipment.
